In a category such as MINI, in which victory is often a matter of thousandths of a second, a continuous refinement of every single component of the kart is absolutely necessary. The work of the OTK Kart Group R&D department and the Tony Kart Racing Team has therefore led to the development, for the Rookie chassis, of the new BMT4 spindles, combined with 235 mm steering rods. Next to these new parts we find the new hubs, now in magnesium, available for both front and rear axles, and a new chain tensioner, in aluminum, fixed to the bearing bracket.M9 Fairing Kit
MAXIMUM AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY
The Tony Kart Rookie is equipped with the M9 fairing kit, made up of the innovative front spoiler and front fairings, strongly inspired by the M11 model reserved for the Junior/Senior classes. On the other hand, the side bumpers and rear protection, part of the M8 kit introduced with the previous homologation, remain unchanged. As for the “adult” version, the whole set of fairings is then decorated with the new designed stickers, but still faithful to the identity of the brand of Prevalle. Attention to detail at the aerodynamic level is evidenced by the introduction of a new integral floorplate, able of reducing vortex and turbulence a in an area particularly subject to these phenomena.BSM5 Brake System
OPTIMIZED BRAKING
To meet the specific needs of the MINI categories, OTK Kart Group's R&D department, in cooperation with the Tony Kart Racing Team, implemented innovative solutions to improve braking on both EVS and EVM versions, updating the already well-known BSM5 brake system with new brake pads named 4A and a 149 mm floating disc.
